In reply to: [The Events Calendar] ?? The Events Calendar 4.6.14Sorry – I forgot to mention that I can get the slider to appear on my homepage if I choose **any other Reading setting** besides Static Page – Main Events Page.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] ?? The Events Calendar 4.6.14This update caused my homepage slider to disappear.
I am using the Smart Slider 3 plugin, which was working fine up through your version 4.6.13.
The configuration is as follows:
Wordpress Reading setting: Homepage displays “Static Page” – “Main Events Page”
The slider is configured in the theme customizer by applying the smart slider shortcode in the “Home Page Slider” theme settings. I am using a child theme of the pro version of the Conica theme.I tried changing the Events Calendar display settings to various combinations of the different styles and templates to no avail.
I have cleared the cache as well with no effect, both via WP Super Cache plugin and the clear cache option in the Smart Slider 3 plugin.
It’s clear this is a conflict between either the Conica theme and your update or between the Smart Slider 3 plugin and your update – nothing else was changed in my plugins since your version 4.6.13.
I have searched the support forums for this issue and could not find help.
Please let me know if you have any ideas, or if you recommend seeking support from the theme developer or the developer of Smart Slider 3.
Events Calendar Version: 4.6.14.1
Wordpress version 4.9.5
PHP version 5.6.30
Theme: Conica (child theme, with very little markup)My live site is:
rockhilltrolley.orgThat site is running your version 4.6.13 and looks like it should. The problem is on the home page of my test site, on which I updated your plugin to 4.6.14.1. I would rather not disclose that location publicly.
Otherwise thanks for the up-till-now great plugin.
