this is not related to the plugin. You need either to enable the CORS headers on your origin server or in the settings of your CDN provider.

both ways are possible. The CDN Enabler plugin just makes sure to point the URL of the assets to the CDN URL. In the most cases is a pull zone the right choice. A pull zone fetches automatically the content from your origin server and caches the assets on the edge servers of the CDN.
