In reply to: [WP Abstracts] How can a non-admin user view all the abstracts?Hi,
Submissions are were not meant to be publicly visible. After submission, usually items are assigned to a reviewer who then reviews and a suggest a status (accept and reject). Reviewers have a similar dashboard view like authors but requires login. If you intend to make the submission visible to the public you would need custom changes to the plugin.

In reply to: [WP Abstracts] WordPress 5.2.5 compatibilityHi,
You’re referring to two different plugins. The changelog at https://www.wpabstracts.com/changelog/ refers to the PRO version of the plugin while the change log here on wordrpress.org is for the Free version which you are probably using.
A newer version of the free plugin is under way and should be released soon. For questions on the PRO version please use https://www.wpabstracts.com/supportForum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Abstracts] Any Submission FeatureHi,
You can use the plugin to submit anything really. There is a section for custom titles under settings where you can change the button text and page headings to be journals instead of abstracts.
For better support please submit a ticket at https://wpabstracts.com/support
Thank you,

In reply to: [WP Abstracts] Error when i install the pluginHi,
This error indicates that your server does not have the GD library installed. This function requires both the GD library and the FreeType library.
You can disable the Captcha in the settings tab to get pass this error while you ask your hosting company to installed or enable GD and FreeType.
Please send a screenshot of the events page to support @ wpabstracts.com so I can get a better idea of what is happening.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.

In reply to: [WP Abstracts] wordpress editor admin errorHi,
For support on the PRO version please email [email protected]
However, if you enable the Allow WordPress Admin Access in the setting then all dashboard users will be able to access your wordpress admin panel. It sounds like you want authors to be restricted to the dashboard while reviewers (editors) are allowed to access the wordpress admin. If so, this is not yet available. For more into, please contact [email protected]
