In reply to: No wp-config.php ?Thanks for this, but it doesn’t actually say we don’t need the wp-config file. Indeed it says:
“you must modify the wp-config.php file to define the WordPress configuration settings required to access your MySQL database”
Perhaps this could be clarified.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Major bug – date changesWould you believe it – it is now working as it should!
Nothing has changed here as far as I know; bit of a puzzle.
Sorry for the panic, but it certainly was as I reported earlier!Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Bilingual All in one CalendarIn case it helps, I use TranslateThis Button plugin to allow instant translation of the site. It doesn’t of course generate a Welsh page just a view in Welsh (or whatever). My site is knucklas.org.uk

In reply to: [Living Journal] Changing from AtahualpaThanks – I’ll consider it, but probably leave it for now.
(Sorry to miss this – I’ve been away.)
I’ll stay with using the wrong location, it’s a lot easier than changing dozens of entries. I look forward to your progress on this issue. The bug applies to almost half the year! I have had to reset my location in WordPress from “London” to “Luxembourg” to get the right times for all my events, and then will have to reset it again when the time changes next spring. This is ridiculous.
I suggest that the times simply be text, because they are entirely local to the event location and nothing to do with the time zone of either the event or the person who submits the event. The time zone of the event can be stated as well as the local time at submission stage, if that would help.
And I’m not giving you my site login details, it is perfectly obvious what the problem is.Are you ever going to fix this bug?
I just updated the plugin and there is no change,Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Editor] Cannot edit most plugin filesIgnore that! It is now working; I was double clicking the folder symbol instead of just single clicking the name!
Thanks for your help.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [WP Editor] Cannot edit most plugin filesHi – thanks.
So far so good – I can now see each file properly.
However I cannot open any directories in the file list.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Editor] Cannot edit most plugin filesI deactivated each plugin in turn – no effect.
What happens I now see is:
on entering plugin editor –
I can select the plugins OK and see list of files & directories
1 file is shown ready for editing
if I select another file it appears BUT the title “Editing …” still shows the first file name
selecting another file does nothing (no activity at all, makes no attempt to load the file)
same with each of the plugin directories.
I have given up and removed your plugin; I really don’t need it thanks!
