In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] How many hotspots? Thanks. Is there a way you could allow an increase for a charitable non-profit site? I don’t need the other Pro functions, we just have one page that we would love to have about 80 hotspots on one map.
See knucklascastle.org.uk/orchard with just a few at present as a trial.Forum: Themes and Templates

I find the sentence at the bottom of these posts irritating and unnecessary! It’s not fundamntal obviously, just my taste.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [raindrops] Individual header image for each pageGo to Customise – Header Image and upload all the header images you need.
Then these appear at the bottom of each page/post edit screen for you to choose.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [MaxGalleria] Uninstall leaves dataI removed all the galleries before I deleted the plugin.
My question is why are there still over 150 Maxgallery references in wp_postmeta in the database? And is it OK to delete them?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Moving to root needs tidy upThanks.
I have in mind doing this because I moved the WP files already:1. as per Codex “Moving WordPress” – “If you forgot to change the locations”:- editing the database wp-options to get rid of the /blog in the Home address
2. then what do I do about htaccess? I guess remove the reference to /blog
3. then I assume updating the permalinks. This would give me the htaccess data I think. Is that OK?
thanks for any help!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [MaxGalleria] Won't Let Me Add ImagesThanks for this, very helpful. I used my hosts advice on the move and thought it didn’t seem quite right. I find the whole permalinks business very confusing.
I suggest we close this now – many thanks!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [MaxGalleria] Won't Let Me Add ImagesI think I have an explanation, but not a solution.
This site was moved from a public_html/blog folder to the root folder, so all the permalinks still refer to the /blog non-existent folder.
This is presumably why the images uploaded since the move are available and the earlier ones are not. Whether Maxgallery can deal with this sort of situation, I don’t know; it is a quirk of WP really.
Hope that helps!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [MaxGalleria] Won't Let Me Add ImagesI have now got the site copied to localhost with all the same plugins and theme settings, and there is no problem with adding images.
I don’t actually need the maxgallery on this site (I solved a problem I had by removing a plugin so the WP gallery works now).
If I find anything I’ll let you know; thanks for your help.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [raindrops] Update – now no header imageThank you – that works fine.

In reply to: [MaxGalleria] Won't Let Me Add ImagesFurther investigation:
images will be added only if I re-upload them to the media files!
I cannot add any existing images.
The site is knucklascastle.org.uk
I have had no problems on another site beaconhillbenefice.org.uk and like the plugin! That theme is Raindrops.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [raindrops] Update – now no header imageI found the file in my hosts files and it is exactly as you say above. Now what?
