I would like to see a “social login” incorporated within a private site plugin. I believe that is the best way to maintain a secure login.

I have been studying your “private site” plugin. I think I will give it a try.

After making coffee, taking two Excedrin and prayer. I tried to re-install the plugins. !!”failed, directory exists”!!

I renamed the directory and re installed one of my plugins. The settings were all there! Hmmmmm. The database must be ok then.

Still does not explain why all the plugins disappeared from the dashboard. Lesson learned: Pray first, coffee and Excedrin won’t be necessary.

That was a BUMP!

I installed Facebook Page Publish and edited the settings. No matter what I do, the image won’t show. I’ve tried all of the four options…

– Gravatar of the post author
– Random post image
– Default thumbnail
– No thumbnail

No matter what I choose, I cannot get the image within the WordPress post to show on my FB fan page. Any suggestions?

AAAAaaaa HA! I used the HOSTS install for dummies and it worked. Just click and it does everything. There must have been some host specific lines in their scripts that this dummy could not figure out. Thanks.

Did just that deleted .htaccess and checked database siteurl.
Also blew away database an did a re-install.

Also added:

define(‘WP_HOME’,’https://allgameclub.com’);
define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’https://allgameclub.com’);

to the wp-config.php to make sure.

Something is wrong. I will check to see if there are any wp issues with my host.
