Rank Math says you can contact them here:

I do have records of my email replies if you ever need to verify or troubleshoot your email system.

Yes, your team did reinstate my subscription so that I could make the updates that occurred while I was a paid subscriber.

Yes, the problems magically vanished with the new subscription for two weeks.

Glad I don’t have to spend any more time on this.

Imagine if every plugin on my website wanted me to troubleshoot for them? I prefer to spend my time making content.

    Thanks and Happy New Year!

Thank you rscimagery for confirming my experience. Sorry, that you had a bad experience too. As we all know by now, only a few ever bother to complain, but they represent many more, and by some estimates, hundreds or even thousands of others.

I am sorry that you responded after my subscription had already expired. If you had responded earlier, perhaps you could have solved your bug problem. I did reply to this message by email, but you never responded. I wanted to know if you were going to renew my subscription and fix your bugs. Interesting that you made such a pleasing offer only when it was not possible for me to accept it. Interesting that you did not reply to my email. I guess keeping up appearances here is what matters.

My son graciously took the time to give me the FTP information. He is not a technical person so it took several emails and hours to get it right and the password. I got in and managed to find the plugin folder hidden where I would not have suspected. I found the FeedWordPress plugin and changed the name for the “folder” not the plugin and that worked. I was able to get my website up and running again. I switched back to WordPress 5.4.2. And everything works fine. I do have the latest update to the FeedWordPress plugin according to the plugin information page on WordPress. I do remember the plugin after reading its description. So everything you told me was correct and helpful. No one else gave any advice, so I needed to write this and to thank you again.FeedWordPress is now turned off. I should be able to update to 5.5 without issue. Thanks for you patience and understanding. I am a creative type and can do this left-brain stuff, but don’t like it to use it. For example, the new left-brain editor is for programmers and is a nightmare for the way I think and process. Fortunately, they keep the plugin for the old way of editing updated. Peace

Thank you for your time in replying. I never heard of “Feed WordPress” and have no idea what it is or where it is. I do not have access to the FTP. My website is hosted by my son oh his expensiver host, and he is very busy and too busy to help. I manage the files and updates, and, until now, without a problem because I always have a backup before updating. I would just prefer to get back to 5.4 and leave this mess to the programmers to fix. I will not update WordPress in the future until an update has been out for a couple of months. I understand it is a volunteer project. Thanks again for trying to help but is just mumbo jumbo to me. I just want it to work, but I know it is not like Apple products that you can just use without headaches.

Similar problem. I have no access to the Dashboard or any headers on my website.

Yes, it did fix it. Thanks for your fast work. I have positively reviewed the product in the past and believe it helps to speed up my website. Thanks again.

Thanks for caring. Unfortunately, you think you are already following user-friendly design protocols. Oh well, not a chance of convincing you otherwise them. Hint: you might start with the language. Few use or understand the specialized language and vocabulary that you throw at us. And it is not from a lack of computer understanding since I can program in several languages. But you can pretend otherwise to keep your happy face.

Thank you again for your time and thoughtful response.
I think I understand enough now to make an intelligent decision.

I do make daily (remote) backups so I do not lose too much work if things crash for some reason.
I appreciate the warnings and concern.
I do have a child theme. So that option is under consideration.

    Peace in this new year.

    Thank you for your reply.

Do the feed links you spoke of occur in the head of every page? I am familiar with html headers, but not php headers.

To answer your question, no I did not try to disable them. I have no clue why there even are feed links since I have no feeds. Is there any point or use to them when I do not intend to have any RSS feeds?

If these links are not being followed by anyone but search bots, then it hardly matters that they are broken.

I think I understand the code you kindly provided; however, I do not know where to place it in my theme. I have used the “Editor” before, and I have the ability to program, but I have no fluency in php at all. Perhaps in the “header.php” file somewhere?

Thanks again for your reply and concern with my problem.
    Happy New Year!

    1) You should fear any text controls too if you fear find and replace being added to a text editor.
    2) As I said before, adding find and replace for the entire database is a different issue and plugins might be the best option for that.
    3) There are no find and replace options now that can be added to the text controls area of the text editor so that you can work as sanely and simply in the text editor as you can in any other text editor in the world.
    4) Remain fearful. You are good at it.
