This is the screen you will see when you log in to your site, and gives you access to all the site management features of WordPress. You can get help for any screen by clicking the Help tab above the screen title. The left-hand navigation menu provides links to all of the WordPress administration screens, with submenu items displayed on hover. You can minimise this menu to a narrow icon strip by clicking on the Collapse Menu arrow at the bottom. Links in the toolbar at the top of the screen connect your dashboard and the front end of your site, and provide access to your profile and helpful WordPress information. You can use the following controls to arrange your Dashboard screen to suit your workflow. This is true on most other administration screens as well. Screen Options — Use the Screen Options tab to choose which Dashboard boxes to show. Drag and Drop — To rearrange the boxes, drag and drop by clicking on the title bar of the selected box and releasing when you see a grey dotted-line rectangle appear in the location you want to place the box. Box Controls — Click the title bar of the box to expand or collapse it. Some boxes added by plugins may have configurable content, and will show a “Configure” link in the title bar if you hover over it. The boxes on your Dashboard screen are: Welcome — Shows links for some of the most common tasks when setting up a new site. Site Health Status – Informs you of any potential issues that should be addressed to improve the performance or security of your website. At a Glance – Displays a summary of the content on your site and identifies which theme and version of WordPress you are using. Activity — Shows the upcoming scheduled posts, recently published posts, and the most recent comments on your posts and allows you to moderate them. Quick Draft — Allows you to create a new post and save it as a draft. Also displays links to the 3 most recent draft posts you've started. WordPress Events and News — Upcoming events near you as well as the latest news from the official WordPress project and the WordPress Planet. Screen elements Some screen elements can be shown or hidden by using the checkboxes. They can be expanded and collapsed by clicking on their headings, and arranged by dragging their headings or by clicking on the up and down arrows. In reply to: Still unable to access dashboard please help@sterndata I have deleted the .htaccess file from my wp-admin folder, cleared the cache, retried but still get the same.
This is what I see for my dashboard

In reply to: Dashboard not workingI have tried renaming my plugin folders (I have two mu-plugins and plugins) I have also renamed my theme folder which came up with this when I tried to log into my admin: The parent theme is missing. Please install the “newstore” parent theme
None of the above worked.
I have a conversation with my hosting service the other day and they said that I had two deny codes in my htaccess files which were causing the problem.
The files were:<FilesMatch ".(py|exe|php)$"> Order allow,deny Deny from all </FilesMatch> <FilesMatch "^(about.php|radio.php|index.php|content.php|lock360.php)$"> Order allow,deny Allow from all </FilesMatch>
They were in public_html –> wp-admin –> .htaccess
Should these files not have been deleted?
Thank you again for your assistance.

In reply to: Unable to log into my Admin DashboardHi @sterndata,
Thanks for your reply.
I have had a look in file manager in public_html and found that I have two .htaccess files the same they both have the same date 4th Feb 2020(times 1:58pm & 4:40pm), both the same size 397 bytes, both type text/x-generic and both with permissions 0444
I also have .htaccess-210301212200-603d5af868b15-duplicator.bak dated 1st March 2021 9:22pm size 743 bytes type text/x-generic permissions 0644Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Unable to log into my Admin DashboardThank you @sterndata I have followed the steps by going into my control panel, renaming my plugins folder but still get the same message when I try to login to my dashboard.
The theme that I am using is New Store by ThemeFarmer which was chosen from a list of themes on the WordPress site and has worked well until now.
Is there a way that I can get into my dashboard without going through the sign in page? Due to COVID-19 I have not been able to work for almost 12 months, now that I can go back to work my site has developed a problem and I cannot deal with orders or update it.
If it helps I cannot access anything from the app either.
Thank youForum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to remove a random Buy Now ButtonHi @senff
Problem solved (hopefully)
I have payments through Stripe enabled on my site and the extra button was something that they had sneaked in when I enabled the Quick Buy for WooCommerce plugin.
It can only be seen in certain browsers which explains why you couldn’t see it and in my view makes it useless.
I have hopefully now disabled it, if it comes back I will let you know but hopefully that is the end of the annoying purple button.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best wishes,

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to remove a random Buy Now ButtonHi Senff,
This is weird as I am still seeing it.
I have refreshed my browser, deleted browsing history and still get it.
Hopefully this link will show it as it is on every product.
I don’t know how to put a screen shot here so that you can see what I can see.
