In reply to: Error with image uploading@ahcreative answer worked for me! Definitely be sure to check you PHP’s upload limit though.
@ezblue Are you serious?? lol oh wow! Is this what being trolled feels like? lol
As previously mentioned, I feel it’s okay not to be concerned about their API. But to say who would care about an API unless you’re a developer, that’s just ridiculous. First off, why would they add it if it wasn’t helpful for “business people”? (whatever that means) Secondly, to say that “business people” are interested in a solution that helps them run their business and not some API is just laughable. APIs facilitate folks running businesses all across the globe.
On to your point about what I’ll do with its API, and I’m so glad you asked. The plan is to use their API to create tickets from within an app. As I mentioned before, due to their API being as functional as it is, full ticket control will be possible, e.g., creation, closing, editing, etc. I hope my business and app take off, but if not, life will move on, and at some point, I’ll develop another WP site, except this time, I’m that much more knowledgable about what WP plugins offer, especially when it comes to ticket and support systems. Oh, and thanks for the vote of confidence btw. :\
Finally, I’d like to address your point about paying for stuff. I pay for stuff all the time. If my business takes off, even though I don’t need its paid functionality, I’ll probably give SupportCandy my money nonetheless, just because they’re so badass. That’s how dedicated a customer I can become. Or at least, that’s what my behavior has been in the past. I certainly realize that you get what you pay for. And trust me, it took a good long while to figure that out. However, given the nature of WP plugins, they must be impressive to gain traction in the first place, let alone convincing someone to pay for them.
Okay, you can resume your non-using API life now @ezblue

In reply to: [NextGEN Gallery Search] qI’m sorry, I don’t think I explained myself well. After the user enters their search and then submits the form, I think it would be more efficient if the Gallery Search plugin would automatically go to the gallery if there’s only one result found, instead of having to click on the single search result. Thank you for hearing my suggestion. Take care.

In reply to: Unwanted styling of the lastest post on the index onlyNever mind, I just fixed it with a work-around. I used that counter on index.php to put a div with my Post class around the latest post. Meh, it works. Isn’t that weird though?
