You have to make your own localization. Download the theme again and upload the zip file to this site, then download the generated .po file.
Edit the .po file with Poedit and translate all text strings. Then save it as fr_FR.po and fr_FR.mo.
Crate a new folder in the Serene theme folder called “languages” and move these two files into the folder. Upload it all with FTP to your server.
All done!

It could be a conflict of category and custom post type name. Make sure they are not the same, just change the category of the post and try again.

I have this problem too. Sometimes it disappears and now it is there again. I am not sure if it is related to the plugin but it is a nasty bug which messes up the site!

Thanks for your reply. I found a few posts telling me to reset the permalink structure. I did as described and added even some code to functions to achieve this. In the process of finding the solution, I switched back to the standard WP theme which resulted in below issue.

Now the situation is that some custom post types work correctly, everything well. One custom post type is not showing (Nothing found message) and in admin I cannot Edit, only View.

And there is another custom post type showing correctly on the site but also as admin not able to edit. I did an extensive search on that but couldn’t find any info on the web about this issue.

If this is not related to your plugin, I am sorry to bother you. But do you know a solution anyway?

I just checked your website, it seems to work again. How did you do that? I run a charity website joinforkids.org which has broken posts (nothing found) as well.

My charity site is very dependent on the custom post types and their permalinks. Having the issue since the upgrade to WP 3.1. I am looking forward to a solution.

I think I have the same issue here. I would like the buttons to be shown underneath every post in a category view.

Now I can only see them when I ‘Read more’. How can I fix that?

Thank you for your quick reply! I thought of a certain js conflict as well but when I deactivate all of my plugins except Meteor Slides, the problem still remains. I am not sure what libraries are used in the Theme, there is no option for me to disable them. I tried moving the widget to another page without other slideshow running but that didn’t work out either.
If it would help, I am happy to give you login data so you can investigate.
