I seem to be having exactly the same problem. Wondered what it was, and am inclined to think now it’s a hosting problem. WordPress sites have recently been attacked by bots, so perhaps we are in ‘lockdown’ at the moment.
Apparently they are attacking sites with weak passwords. May be unrelated though…

The text wrap around the Flash animation only works in Firefox….

After a couple of days, this problem seems to have cured itself, no doubt due to some other update. Have also concluded that ‘Mr Sivel’ probably has a thing about IE, hence the ‘no display’ message in that browser, so all is well again…..probably. ??

I’ve downloaded the latest version of Flash, and now the shadowbox box script fails to work correctly (the screen justs goes dark). Tried to go to the authors homepage (https://sivel.net) and IE says it can’t open that page. Thought I’d better mention it………

Sorry no idea, though hopefully the plugin developer may start to upgrade the plugin again.

Hi johnkorr, unfortunately I just pasted in the fix and made it available. I can’t think why there should be a problem, but apparently the plugin author is planning an update, so you may have to wait until then.

Zota, re the add events button, I’ve just tried it and it works OK for me.Go to settings – EventCalendar and at the top of the calendar page, ensure that you have selected which category your events will be included in when you post.

That has worked thanks. Have recently moved my site to a new server so hoping things will run better still. A few additions planned so see how it works out.

Remaining with the polls, which is a great plugin by the way. I’ve had a problem where if I select the multiple choice option on a poll, is still only allows the selection of one. Is there a setting I can change to remedy this?

Sometimes its best to state the obvious, as I’ve made mistakes in the past when I’ve been unsure and complained about it after. Thank goodness a lot of my ‘Help! I don’t know what I’m doing’ days are behind me! ??

The patch works. You have to open two files and ‘cut and paste’ the fix in . Just a few lines of code, so thanks to whoever worked it out.

Same problem. Downloaded the latest Flash player hoping for a fix but none yet.

You probably want to keep your wp-content folder too, unless you want to delete your plugins and templates.
