I am having this exact same problem. Have you spoken with the creator of the plugin. I have the feeling this might be an issue with WP 2.0.4, because I installed the same plugin on a 2.0 install of WP without any issues.

I just got the same message on my WP 2.04 installation. How did you resolve this issue?
