— i think i may have found the solution

plugin conflict with “redirection” plugin by John Godley (3.7.3)

I had the option: “…Force a redirect from HTTP to HTTPS. Please ensure your HTTPS is working before enabling (beta)…” checked.

I unchecked it, exported the site and imported it into my local, …works fine now.

I’ve tried multiple migrations, I’m receiving the same error

– everything seems to migrate over: files, themes, images,
– except for database information.

– is there a setting that might be conflicting with the import of the database? permissions?

– I’m also starting to notice that AFTER a migration….

what was once https://localhost:8888/ xxxxxx
– is now switching to https://localhost/ xxxxx
– which then restruns a “site cant be reached, localhost refused to connect….”

– I have an idea to try, I will reply if it works or not

I have set a page I created called “news”

In settings>reading> I have set the Posts-Page to “news”

When I go to edit the News page, The drop down for templates to choose full-width disappears. ?
