Hi, love the plugin! But I still experience this problem. I have tried to modify the code as suggested above, but to no avail. Any idea?

Edit: Well… Do not know what happened, but out of nowhere it works again. I think i changed the url to full path of my linkedin profile without https, and voila.

HillTactical′s method worked. The developers website converts normal “”” quotes to smart quotes “″“″ and that will not work.

So, if you copied the code from the developer site you will have to change it from:
<?php newannouncement( $group = “GROUP1″ ); ?>

To:
<?php newannouncement( $group = “GROUP1” ); ?>

Look at the quotes around GROUP1 and you will understand.

Hi. Thank you for following up! I just checked and apparently it only applies to my phone with default web browser (not newer device with Chrome). It just say that it doesn’t know what to do with the file.

My Android device is Android 2.2.1 Froyo. Samsung Galaxy S2. I dont know if you have any device with equal / older version? Could anyone confirm my problem? It was my clients that told me about this, so cant be only for me. And i reproduced the problem on Froyo. On my Android PAD it was all okey. Downloaded without any problem.
