In reply to: [IP2Location Country Blocker] Register neededI dont demand anything. I only point out that it should be easier to get the needed file(s), that’s all. I could just sit back and dont even comment on this, like I will do in the future to avoid these “kickbacks”. Have a nice evening.

In reply to: [IP2Location Country Blocker] Register neededYou can’t take credit for what others have made. The database should be open source. I dont want to register all over the net and give away my information like emailadress, etc. just for some simple files to download. Many will not install the plugin just because of this.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Upsell and Crossale do not workYes that was the problem like you show in the screenshot.
I tried deactivating almost all plugins without any luck. I ended up with installing Storefront theme and activated it temporarily and now I was able to delete/edit the Upsell and Cross-sell fields.
So it looks that this is caused by the Avada theme.
Thank you for your time and help.

In reply to: Where do I translate the activation message/email?Search and you will find ??
Search “To activate your blog” (1 hit in 1 file)
C:\Users\Kenneth\Desktop\wpblogg.no\wp-includes\ms-functions.php (1 hit)
Line 853: __( “To activate your blog, please click the following link:\n\n%s\n\nAfter you activate, you will receive *another email* with your login.\n\nAfter you activate, you can visit your site here:\n\n%s” ),
Search “To activate your blog” (0 hits in 0 files)As far as I can see the activation text is hardcoded in \wp-includes\ms-functions.php line 853 and it is not a line in the translations files.
Not quite sure what’s best solution but this should be added into the Network Admin settings or into the language files to prevent that the text goes back when you upgrade WP.

In reply to: Welcome message/email in wrong languageStill testing… I see I mixed the two messages above. AFTER registration I get the right message and also in norwegian message. But where can I change the following “Activation message”?
To activate your blog, please click the following link:
https://test.mysite.com/wp-activate.php?key=f42g269f28gf7c6c
After you activate, you will receive *another email* with your login.
After you activate, you can visit your site here:

In reply to: [The Newswire] Insert image in upper right blank areaYes you should be able to add static banner as well as dynamic banners.
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [The Newswire] Insert image in upper right blank areaI got it to work. Try this:
Open style.css and find line about 856:
#newswire-banner { width: 468px; max-height: 60px;
Change it so it fit your banner size, ie. like mine:
#newswire-banner { width: 300px; max-height: 130px;
Open banner-header.php and add the following in the top of the code:
<img src="https://www.yoursite.com/wp-content/uploads/righttop.jpg" width="300" height="130" align="right">
And ofcouse upload your banner as https://www.yoursite.com/wp-content/uploads/righttop.jpg
Always make a copy of your files before editing them, so you can go back if something messes up.
Hope this helps you a bit on the say.
I already use the Loco Translation manager. Didn’t know I could use it for the Events Manager though.
