Well, there’s a check box that says “Comment author must fill out name and e-mail ” so I thought that meant it wasn’t mandatory. Doesn’t seem to have anything to do with my issue though.

Yep. I used to require that people use an email address also, but when this issue started happening, I unchecked it but still no luck.

I figured it out earlier after someone responded to another question I had. Turns out I was still using the wp.com dashboard because I didn’t install the wp.org dashboard yet. Doh!

It works now and I’m happily trying out 3 million themes. Thanks!

Now that I’ve reread your response, I’ve realized that my installation isn’t complete. Thank you for your help!

I purchased and installed the www.remarpro.com software via GoDaddy. I bought the wordpress hosting package and did the one-click install. Does that not automatically convert from wordpress.com to www.remarpro.com?
