Same problem, with contact form.

But no solution???

Is this possibly a cache problem?? If it is, is there a work around or a plugin so that the changes made would be reflected in the globally viewed site?

Any suggestions as to which plugin might help in this situation?

Here is the issue I’m trying to deal with. We periodically run special events at our facility. I thought I could use the space to the right of the logo in the header as a bulletin board to keep users up-to-date. My intention was to, once an event was over, swap out the old image in the header widget and upload the new image announcing the new event. Thought that was a simple solution. But from what you’re telling me, there is no way of ensuring the user sees the new image in the header widget, unless they refresh their browser.

So now I’m not sure how I would do this.

Bummer!! Thanks by the way the Command R made everything on my site appear properly, but maybe there is a bigger problem in doing it this way. Any recommendations on how you would do it? I thought it would be like updating content. Just edit it, upload and be done with it. Much like you would do for the body of a post. And once it was uploaded thats what people would see.

So how would one ensure that a user see’s the most up-to-date version of the site?

Thanks esmi, I’ll try that. But the way I understand it, that will refresh the site on my machine and I should be able to see the changes. I’m on a mac by the way is it the same.

But what about other people visiting the site, if they have been there before will they have to empty their cache to see the changes??
