Hi Shivaji,

I can live with my menu now being on the left side for that page (it’s actually kind of cool in blue) but I cannot live with the A to Z tabs being 90% behind my banner and the “return to the top of page” section of my footer being out of focus. How do I correct that please?

Thanks for the detailed instructions. That worked. Unfortunately now that I used the AtoZ template on a page, that page is completely screwed up. My menu bar went from underneath the banner to vertical on the left side of the page. The A to Z tab is hidden behind my banner.

Are you sure this works with 3.2.1?

I know it’s a stupid question but my tech skills are limited. How do you move the file from the plugin folder to a-to-z-category-listing to my theme folder? Please explain in laymen terms. Thanks!

Disregard. I found out how to activate it. However, I had my web guy create a bar so now this custom one (not designed like I want) sits above it. I will get it figured out somehow. Thank you again.

OK, I give up. After recreating the menu a few times and then only being able to save it to a certain point, I’ve decided to focus on my Level 1 tabs and only a couple of Level 2s and worry about the other levels later.

Now that I have created it and save it, what’s the next step? I inserted my customized header so am not totally clueless under the hood but must proceed with caution since I can’t get ahold of my web guy and need to make the menu visible.

Thank you very much! I played around with this menu thing yesterday but could not figure it out. Your link is the best explanation I have seen.

My theme does support this and I am able to create up to 2 menus. I created one with most of my 68 (gulp!!) categories and finally organized all of them. But now it will no longer let me save it. I keep receiving an 500 internal system error.

Grrr.

One more thing to figure out. But thank you for this link. I’ll let you know if I ever am able to use the new menu bar.
