I worked out I had two plugins both set to be the template for a single product.

As I said, I have worked with all of this before, just struggling at the moment with my head all over the place. Websites have taken a back seat, but really just needed to fix this issue.

Sorry I realised that I was playing with a live product and can’t really have it showing the wrong thing while I sort this out. So I have created a dummy product to play with.

It doesn’t matter if I put something different in each box, only the information I put in the ‘product description’ section shows up. It duplicates both to the right of the product image and in the description tab. The information from the short description section doesn’t show up at all.

If I leave the product description empty and only fill in the short description then nothing shows up in either.

However my short description doesn’t show up anywhere, and the description shows up next to the product and I want it in the tab.

@oaoyadeyi Thanks for your reply, I will look at that. Although I am less interested in looking for the auto-expire date and more looking for the simple way to continuously add different variations to the same product. Will check it out ??

@priyagoenka Thanks for your reply. Yep I have set up tags for online, in person and Online & In Person as a work around for now.

I did try editing the radio button field to have the option of both, but it didn’t work the way I was hoping.

Have the option in a future update would be wonderful thank you ??

Was there a solution to this problem?
I had the same thing happening, people were not able to access the page after purchase, nor did it show on the ‘you have purchased’ list I had created.

It did re-appear once I refreshed the transient list. Surely I don’t have to do that all the time?

I have had a quick look at the other plug-in, it does get me closer, but I only need to grant people access to specific pages, so not sure it would work how I want it too.

I will speak to my client about keeping the member’s pages on one site so that I can use your plug-in, I like the simplicity and ease of it.

Would it work if the pages I wish to grant access to are under a parent page?
So I create a Members page and then put the other pages under that Members page? I wonder if that would be better than creating a members subdomain.

My renewals are also creating ‘guest’ or no detail orders. A bit hard to keep track of when there is more than one order all the same.

Thanks for your reply and explanation. I have a bit of limited knowledge in changing code etc, but not sure my expertise run to this level. I will have a look around and see what I can find.

I did finally get a response from the theme creator, but it was less than helpful. I have replied again to hopefully get some more answers.
