Well I guess a nevermind is in order. After deleting jetpack for a 3rd time, it all seems to be working now.

Oh, the publicize plugin will not let me delete the social media connections either.

Then how do I request this very basic functionality be added for the next update to the Jetpack plugin comments section? Is there a built in upper-limit or are you telling me that jetpack’s comments can theoretically be unlimited?!? That would be a web dev flaw.

It did take several hours to actually update and show that there were views but after waking this morning everything did update. I wish it were faster, but all things being equal, it is working now as described.

Ok, I know I said it was fixed but it sort of isn’t. It still says 0 views but Jetpack site stats shows more views than that and my Google Analytics shows WAY more pageviews than Jetpack stats does.

I’m starting to lose faith in Jetpack stats altogether.

I updated today and it appears that my latest posts will now show “0 Views” instead of being blank. Thank you, sir!

Thanks you very much for the input! Those are exactly the suggestions that I was looking for. I starting trying to use NAVT but haven’t quite got the hang of WordPress yet so I’m trudging through all new CSS and php styles.
