Hello, I understand my first post was a lot all at once. I thought perhaps re-posing the questions may provide some clarity:
ONE: The confirmation was marked as SPAM. Any forum/support info on how to address that?
That is to say, the notification went through, but the confirmation ended up marked as SPAM. Could you be explicit as to whether or not there are differences in how those two emails are generated and/or if you have recommendations about configuration options in your plugin so that the email might not be marked as SPAM? I understand it may be completely out of your control, but I felt I should ask just in case.TWO: The timestamp on the log was not in sync with the time settings on the site. It was 3 hours ahead. Can the timestamp issue be addressed? Are there settings I missed?
I realize you don’t control what my timezone is set to, but I’m curious if there is anything in EBD that would cause the timestamp of the logged email to be three hours different? I would like the form submission timestamps to be accurate. Any assistance on this would be much appreciated.Lastly, I discovered I did not (but meant to) ask this question:
On my staging site (WPStaging), the CF7 code changed: I had a CF7 form created in the production site with one code number, but in the staging site, the code changed. Were that code the same, it would have worked fine. Maybe that is a question for CF7? However, as this trio of plugins is mean to work in tandem here, I thought you might be able to shed light on why the code would have changed and if there is anything that could be done (in EBD) to account for this situation.
I hope this additional clarification is helpful. Any suggestions are welcome and I value your time, so if there is anything I can provide to you that will help, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Sounds good, thank you. BTW, on that last thing I mentioned about the form ID changing on the staging site…is that an issue that would cause a fatal error with a shortcode made or used on the staging site that then got pushed over (WPStaging) to production? I would add that I did not explicitly change the form, the form ID, or otherwise alter the form on the staging site except to change the email recipient field for the notification…I didn’t anticipate that would trigger a change to the ID.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Yoast does not recognize WP core 6.4.1What plugin was causing the conflict?
That’s the only one for this site, but I’m working on other sites where I intend on using Taxopress with custom post types (just not there yet).
If I were able to add a class in the template for the directory such that auto links could find the text, would that work? For example, if I added a code snippet that always appended the container class with “taxopress-auto-links”…I wonder if auto links could then find the text. I’m not sure if that is how it works.
Hi @stevejburge, I really like Taxopress. I appreciate the info on the possible conflict. I assumed that if Would using the pro version of Taxopress alleviate this issue? Or does Taxopress just not work at all when there is an alteration to the the body or title in a custom post type? If the latter is true, do you recommend any workarounds?
I’m also experiencing auto links not working on a custom post type. I’m using Directorist plugin. Taxopress Autolinks recognizes the post type and its tags but it doesn’t auto link the term. I’ve auto added some terms and the terms show up but the link does not. Here is an example (auto added term: citizenship) not linked in the second paragraph of the text.

I did verify that it works with normal posts/tags.
Hi Rashed,
Thank you for the clarification. I recommend you update the document(s) and documentation that are sent to customers who are supposed to go through this process. While not totally unclear, it leads the customer to believe they are supposed to install those plugins. Then, when the plugin can’t be found, it creates confusion and concern that the process will not work. Also, when a plugin isn’t on the WordPress Plugin Directory, it by passes the benefit of having the WP community evaluate it and to have open dialogue and documentation of the development of the plugin (support, bugs, fixes, suggestions, etc.). These comments are meant to be constructive and I hope they are helpful. Best regards, KC
Can someone help with this? I cannot get Related listings or Similar listings to show relevant listings to the page I’m on. The “Settings” area and the widget in Single Listing Layout do not offer the correct settings. I need assistance, please.
That’s a shame that one cannot use the location taxonomy to display the related/similar listings. Also, are “similar” and “related” listings the same thing and are the two locations I described above two different places affecting the same function?
Can someone from Directorist reply? I’m not seeing these settings in my configuration. Links and images to help me understand would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
I’m not seeing that…do you mean (from the dashboard): Directory listings > Directory Builder > Single Page Layout > Other Settings? If so, I only see “Similar listings logics
Must match category and tag
Must match category or tag”If you mean Directory Builder > Settings > Listings > Single Listings…under Related Listings I only see “Category or Tag” and “Category and Tag” in the pull down.
No mention of locations or zipcode…
If you mean the filters, that isn’t what I’m talking about. I’m talking about the pre-populated listings that show up…where you can control the columns, etc.
Maybe the locations and zipcodes are made available with an extension?
What am I doing wrong? ??
My point was more geared toward having the related listings, but including those most relevant (by proximity) to the listing. A search result page can’t know if the user has found exactly what they want…so the related listings are still relevant if by category…but the issue to solve is how to cross reference the longitude and latitude to determine reasonable proximity, or by zip code…there must be a zip code proximity list/library that can be loaded. Anyone have an idea on how to do this?
Conversely, could the Directorist settings allow a link to display: “Show me related listings: by zip code (list), category (list), location (list)”???
seems as though it would make sense to include location in those settings…a listing that was related by category…but was located 100 miles away, may not be relevant…the only work around I can think of would be to have duplicate categories for every location which would be redundant and maybe confusing.
Regarding the multiple address feature, that would be a really great addition to Diretorist. I’m working on a directory of nonprofits and it would be very helpful to have a way to list multiple addresses in one listing that would allow me to feature the address/map for each location. It would also be helpful if “related listings” could be in the same zip code or region, I’m not sure they are.
