Yes, we used the Google Workspace account and we don’t want to use an alias as indicated in the instructions. We want to use a separate email account that exists as one of the company emails in the Workspace account, but We don’t see these other emails as choices in WPMail SMTP.
I just found there is a migration add on for migrating from Social Warfare. Would this work to migrate form other plugins like Easy Social Share?
This is still a problem for me. My galleries have been disabled for 3 weeks now. Is there ever going to be a fix for this?
Ok, I just set up a dev site that is an exact copy of the original and it does have the same problem. I can give you login creds for that. How do I send them to you securely?
Unfortunately, I cannot take the site down right now. I see others have had the same problem. Has it been fixed for any others?
Yep, that is the exact behavior that I am experiencing. I haven’t yet been able to take my site down, but I imagine it will likely be the same as you.

In reply to: Missing Google Adsense Ad with 4.2.3As long as you don’t switch to the visual editor, it should stay.

In reply to: Missing Google Adsense Ad with 4.2.3Sorry that didn’t work for you. So far it has worked on all of my sites. I can either remove the cdata tags or re-copy the code direct from Google Adsense and paste it in the text editor. Both approaches have worked. On a side note, not all of my adds had cdata tags yet all were still not working. In those cases I just copied the code over again and it worked. Hope you find a solution.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Missing Google Adsense Ad with 4.2.3So I figured out the best solution on my own and successfully implemented it only to finally receive a response from Google after the fact. however it does detail what I have already done exactly:
Hey Kevin,
Thank you for your email. Please allow me to clarify and suggest workarounds to overcome this issue:
A WordPress security update released on July 23rd broke the show_ads.js and adsbygoogle.js tags for some of our WordPress publishers. This is beyond Google’s control, but we are able to provide a workaround until WordPress releases a solution.
This WordPress security update accidentally removes line breaks from script tags that are placed within a post or page, resulting in code that looks like this:
// google_ad_client = “ca-pub-00782
For ad code that uses show_ads.js this has the effect of ad request having a property code of ca-undefined or ca-null. For code that uses adsbygoogle.js this prevents your site to complete an ad request to Google.
Until WordPress releases a solution we suggest to replace all broken ad code with newly generated code:
Remove broken AdSense tags from every WordPress post, page or widget that has a broken tag.
Copy-paste a fresh AdSense tag from AdSense frontend into every WordPress post, page or widget that had a broken tag in it and save.
Important: make sure to not switch back to the Visual Editing mode in the meantime, as that will insert the broken <![CDATA code again.
Alternatively, you can use Google’s Official AdSense plugin for WordPress to place new code which is unaffected. Note that the old ad codes need to be removed before placing new ones.I hope you find the above useful. If you are still in need of any assistance, please do not hesitate to reply to this email. I’d be happy to help.
Best,
Emily
