I wholeheartedly agree. The gutenberg editor is the worst designed thing I have seen come out of wordpress. It making the handover of websites to clients to be really embarrassing.

I have since reverted back to the version before and it all works now.

On two sites with similar setup I manage, on the same same server one update worked and the other did not. I will investigate from there.

It is also happening when I try create a new gallery.

Same issue. Half my categories disappeared for woocommerce products.

Do not use!

Kind of annoying and has messed up all settings.
