After the latest update all of my sites are facing an issue with site kit. Error says insufficient permissions. However NOTE that this was already working fine and issues cropped up only after plugin updates on 2 of my sites. Now when I try to verify and login as mentioned in my previous comment the verification is not getting completed as the error keeps me looping in ciricles. Can someone please help?

Improvement Suggestion after Heavy Usage:

An option to resize and optimize images will be really helpful. Image size has been causing google to flag out LCP related issues. Especially the free images from unsplash etc, are getting used in full size and that increases the page load time.

An option to copy and paste text/image styles would do wonders.

If the makestories app could be able to gauge the page insights or load time somehow, it will again help the users. In a longer run, google throws you out of circulation even if your articles follow guidelines. This is due to factors such as load time etc.

There needs to be an easier way to navigate between pages. Couldn’t really find a useful way to do it if I need to go from page 1 to 10.

During upload, if the image name can be picked up as ALT Text it will save users a lot of time making it a very good experience overall. During publishing though the ALT text should be displayed in one go so if user notices anything amiss, that can be corrected.

A single click “Remove Animation” from all sides could also be usefull.

A copy and paste of animation style will also be very usefull.

I sort of managed to better the previous load time with a big sacrifice though, with these:

• Had to reduce the quality for all images to be under 50KB.
• Had to remove background animation (makes the page dull but..).

For the effect and visual experience, I kept the text box animation as is.
However, I tried it and I must mention that, removing text box animations, made the LCP even better. But it can make the whole experience plain and uninteresting. But I can see many big players are doing this from early days.

I respect your feedback and I Understand what you mean by saying that load time, doesn’t fall under your purview. But you need to reconsider this aspect for a longer run. Providing features that will help users identify an estimated load time before publishing the story, will be helpful to the users. Especially someone who has slogged hard to create 100s of web stories (in the rightful way under guidelines) and suddenly the traffic goes down to zero due to the LCP factor.

I loved the way your plugin works but… Not raising a query because many people have already done and I know the response. But I’ll keep checking if there’s something helpful in the future. Thankyou.

Hi, irrespective of whether it matters to anyone. Just wanted to mention. The redirects issue was solved by uninstalling the plugin with removal of all plugin related data and then reinstalling it again with complete setup.

Only problem now is that in all my posts, the top-most image appears to be stretched vertically. This wasn’t a problem earlier though.

Any suggestions?

Hi, now I am getting a “too many redirects error” on multiple pages. Is there no support at all for non-subscribers?

An update on this. When I select the number of posts to be displayed on home page to be 1, JSON API is able to pull all the posts for 2nd post. But it ignores the 1st post.

Earlier, I had set the no. of posts to be displayed on home page to be 14 so all 14 first posts were getting ignored and JSON API was pulling posts from 15 onwards.

Can this be resolved?
