I did try deactivating and reactivating the plugin once more, and it worked! The registration is now complete. Thanks for your help!

I am having a similar problem. When I use the Recent Facebook Posts widget, it will not display Instagram links shared on Facebook, although it displays regular posts fine.

I’m using this plugin as well and have the same problem. Sometimes when the browser is resized, the ratio aspect of the images changes so the images become a little distorted. I realized that this issue only occurs for me if the image is wider than it is tall; if the image is a square or if it is taller than it is wide, the aspect ratio is maintained when the browser is resized. Is there anyway to fix this, maybe some code I could add, so that I can use landscape images in the slider? Or is there a solution for this in the premium version of this plugin?

I would provide a link for the site I’m working on, but it is not live yet. Let me know if anything in unclear or if you need more info.

Thank you so much for your quick reply. Since you didn’t add any code to ensure the image aspect ratios are retained, I figured maybe the issue was related to the pictures you used since the aspect ratio is almost 1:1, but my images had an aspect ratio of 2:1. It turns out that this was the difference. I will start a new thread as this is unrelated to the original post. Thanks again!

    Hello,

I’m using this plugin and really like it. My only problem is that sometimes when you resize the browser, the images in the background distort a little bit. I would like the aspect ratio of the images to be retained at all times. So if you resize the browser, I would like part of the image to be cut off rather than stretching the image to fill the background (if necessary).

WebDi, I see that you were able to achieve this with this plugin on your site: https://www.ultimissimo.net/ (Gorgeous site, by the way). What code did you need to add to do this?

I would provide a link to the site I’m working on, but it’s under construction and in maintenance mode.

I have also been having with a child theme. Everything looked just like the regular theme, except the styling for the dropdown menu disappeared. Instead of it only showing when the user hovers over the menu item for the parent page, the dropdown menu is always displayed. Also, the menu item for the parent page of the dropdown menu disappears when it has a dropdown menu, but if you take out the drop down menu and only have the top level pages in the menu, all items show up fine.

Is there something wrong with squirrel theme that prevents it from being compatible with a child theme?
