To clarify, the button in the checkout is working for you, only the express buttons on the cart or single product page don’t?

yes, exactely.

the buttom on checkout is also the express button.

the site is in a very very early process, first we wanna check a stable payment plugin.

no other plugins, storefront and logging enabled!

thanks mrclayton for your great support. maybe they are right, we tested some different plugins before. but how do delete that account, they didn’t mentioned?!
that was my only question. it’s not a big problem but i would like to know.

this is the answer from stripe support i received:

“I understand your frustration, I double checked with my colleagues and the Express account was definitely created by WooCommerce so they’re the ones that have to delete the account for you through the API. I am not sure if it was the plug in or not that caused the creation of this account however I can definitely confirm that Woocommerce is the one that can delete the account.”

so who is gonna delete that account now?

thanks for your fast reply. hmm, i think i don’t like to load the stripe.css just to overwrite almost anything afterwards. please have look at the css. there is almost any rule twice in the file.

i sometimes dequeue styles from plugins via function.php just to load a customized version. what’s wrong with that? so it would be nice to answer my question above, how to deregister the file.

and me! stripe told me should contact woocommerce…
