Thanks for all this information. But I actually know very little about CSS so I tried to check those points but couldn′t figure out…

But I found an easier solution in the end. So before even if I took all the widgets out, when I would put them back again the same strange configuration would remain. So I downloaded this “widgets-reset” plugin and once I reset them, when I put them back everything was in the correct place.

I’m looking at it also from other computer, but the banner image I had as a header and also the ad I had before the posts are not there anymore.
The ad is fine anyway because I have the code, but I don’t know if I can do the image…

I also just upgraded to wordpress 3.5, I don’t know if maybe it was this…

Just tried it in this new post https://www.practicaryoga.com/2012/10/02/una-introduccion-a-la-meditacion/ and it looks alright.

I changed it to 27.6% but it’s still not working.

Not really, because for instance in this post https://www.practicaryoga.com/2012/08/22/chakra-muladhara-encontrando-estabilidad/ I didn’t choose any featured image so I should have gotten the first one on the thumbnail, but I got the second one.

And also I tried before not choosing a featured image and then I selected that post as a sticky post, but then I didn’t get any picture at all on the front page!!

I would like to know if there’s a way to just select an image as featured without having to have it appearing big on top.
