I’m having the same problem… trying to post a public group pool using Flickr Photostream plugin and getting the “no photos” message. I also get a “There’s nothing visible to you…” message when I’m logged out of Flickr even though all my settings say this group is viewable to non-member public.

I had the same problem. This is how I did it; add this code to your child theme style.css

.featured-post .feature-text:after, .featured-post .feature-image.small:after {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
}
