I can not find any API ??
I have Matomo installed directly in Plugin-folder:

Is different to your installation. You installed Matomo in a subdomain.
Maybe thats the reason for my Matomo does not need API. If is like that, it would not be possible to use Matomo for other websites too, as long as installed in Plugin-folder?
If I need to install Matomo in a subdomain, how can I do this?
Would be glad you could help me in this case!

I kicked out wp-stats already and using matomo only, cause of these weird low counts.

The code you are using is not working in my environment. I think thats because I am using the self hosted matomo. Also I cannot find a auth-token in my dashboard, which I would have to use for displaying stats.
But anyway – no problem with that ??
My bigger desire is to have the stats displayed for every site-visitor like in your homepage. I anly can give logged in users the ability to view the stats, all other regular visitors will get the message, that there is nothing to show.
So I had to restrict the site with my stats for only logged in users.
How did you manage stats-visibility for all visitors?

I don’t have Wordfence installed and same on my stats. Great differences between the counts of Matomo and WP-Statistics!!! Visitors are three times higher at Matomo, pageviews almost three times higher at Matomo.
Don’t understand those huge differences!

On https://alternatiefnieuws.org you put the Matono Stats for testing purposes. I already got the same as you in the “Matomo_test”, but how did you manage it to get this chart displayed in “Matomo test 2” in your footer?
I’m very interested also how you managed it to get displayed the matomo-stats for every site-visitor. As far as I understand, all the stats inserted via shortcodes only will be displayed for logged in users who have the right “view” in their role.

I am looking for similar function. Did you find a way to manage this?
I need to send emails to my customers if there is new post/custom post type released on my site. As there are daily 10-20 posts released, I need only one email with link to all new posts sent out.

I am looking for same function. I don’t want my customers get 10-20 mail-notifications by my site. All my customers would immediately quitt service!
Ok I see, there is no function to let neither the subscriber nor the site-admin choose the frequency of notification.
But: as I am working with external cron, is it possible to set the cron to “once a day” and let email subscribers send all notifications related to new posts in ONE EMAIL ?
I tried to do so, on my site about 10-20 new posts will be created by customers or writers, and if I put the cron on “once a day”, it will send once a day ONE notification for ONE new post. That game would last about 10 days until all notifications would be sent out.
I’m using free version. Maybe Pro-version provides that feature?
