This is my first time working with themes – it has quite the learning curve.

I found out how to fix it. The theme I am using had it set at content / with sidebar so I just had to go into the theme and change it there.

I was trying to change it on the page itself and it wasn’t working that way.

I figured it out …

I now have only 2 categories as I found a widget I can use for the News / Events page.

Too bad WP doesn’t work like facebook where you can pin a post to the top.

I am using the theme Gridalicious.

Log in to wherever your WP files are being hosted and you should find a file called .htaccess and change it to .htaccess.old and see if that works. If you have support where you host your WordPress site they should be able to assist you.

I forgot all about the widget that I tested – Problem Solved.

I found I had to go to my hosting site and add .old to an access file and then it worked

Thanks – I set it as a featured image and now it shows up. I couldn’t get featured image to work earlier. So now it shows up but it is a smaller photo than the full size image. How do I select the larger version of it?

It isn’t a broken image – nothing shows up at all.

I just noticed the two links didn’t show up either. Boy I am butchering this questions. Here they are again.
