In reply to: What if this happened to YOUR blog? Here’s where I am now. I think I got rid of the nested folder. I then went into my blog and clicked on a post, put “test” in the comments section, then sent it, and did funny things to my site. It moved the center column off to the left. Is this because I’m commenting on my own site?
Also, when I posted a comment, I didn’t get an error code this time.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: What if this happened to YOUR blog?Oh, my, I think I really blew it this time. I deleted the Mambopress theme and reloaded it without the nested folder and now when I go to my blog, it’s not there at all. Nothing but a blank screen.
I’m not sure as to whether or not I have more than one WP installation. How would I know that? Ever since I started blogging, my site says that I don’t have the latest version, but so far I haven’t been able to upgrade. I tried to upgrade yesterday, but it asks me if I want to do it through ftp or html and then explains each. I thought I was going in the right direction with ftp but then it asks me a bunch of questions I don’t know how to answer.
What can I do to be able to get back what I just lost — my entire site?
By the way, thank you so much for helping me.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: What if this happened to YOUR blog?I’m fairly new at this, but when I go to my ftp client through Filezilla, and click on the folder that says themes, it goes down one level to my theme, Mambopress, and when I click on that, I get another folder one level down that says Mambopress again with a question mark.

In reply to: Posts aren’t publishingI am also having trouble with posting. I typed an entry, then hit publish. I later went back to check it but found that the entry is only listed under pages, not posts. What am I doing wrong?
