I tried that and it didn’t seem to work for me. I am still getting this error in my FireFox error console:

Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to call method Location.toString

And I am still manually inserting photos every day!!

I’m having the same problem with 2.5.1. When I push “insert image” it’s just a blank box and when I close out there’s no photo in my post.

-Tried all browsers, diff. computers, different admin users.

-Tried no tabs in FF.

-Tried editing the Media.php.

-Tried updating flash.

-Tried deleting URL.

I am getting the error:

Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to get property Window.send_to_editor

Lastly, I did notice that when I close out of the Media box that the cursor is in the post title box, even though I was typing in the main box. Could that be related??

I have this same problem!!! When I push “insert photo” the flash screen just goes white and nothing happens. I’ve been manually inserting them, which is a huge pain. I’ve tried in Firefox, IE, Vista, Windows XP, tabbed, no tabs, updating Flash, updating Java. No luck!! I’d love some advice!

SGL – I called my host and he handled the post_id for me. But I am still unable to insert photos. The flash screen freezes every time I push insert photo. Any ideas on that problem? I had hoped it was related to the unresponsive script but I guess not.

SLG – I found the pHpMyAdmin, found the wp_postmeta file. Found the postid stuff, but I don’t feel confident deleting anything because I think my Blue Host admin area looks different than the situation you described above. Any advice on this? Should I hire a computer whiz in my town to come help me?

I just upgraded to 2.5.1 today, and I am having the same unresponsive script problem.

I have Blue Host and use Firefox, but the problem occurs in any browser. My flash image uploader freezes when I push “upload image” and when I load the “Write Page” page it freezes momentarily and says “unresponsive script.”

I have no idea where pHpAdmin is, but I know how to access my wp-admin files. Is it in there somewhere? I’ve looked everwhere for the postmeta file.
