In reply to: [WooCommerce] customer must be signed in to apply couponHuh, wow ok you are right. Perhaps I (or somebody in our organization) tweaked our test coupon setting. I dunno. Well, thanks for pointing that out. And thanks for such a quick response ?? Have a nice day.

Hi, I want to check in with this issue. I notice this www.remarpro.com support topic is marked solved, but the problem persists. I have followed the github thread, but the bug I have found does not appear to have been fixed.
I just tried updating again on a staging site and the problem has now continued through woocommerce versions 7.8.0, 7.8.1, 7.8.2, and 7.9.0.
I am grateful for woocommerce and the people behind it. Thanks, have a nice day.
Ok. @amiralifarooq does that mean that this problem is solved? I noticed a recent woo patch update, but the changelog did not mention this problem. We are not updating woo until it’s figured out. Thanks!
Ok, thank you for the response. I will subscribe to the github link.
Have a nice day ??
Hi there, thank you for the prompt response. I updated the plugin and that took care of the problem. Thanks for your time. You can mark this as Resolved.
Hi there, I have been on vacation, sorry it took me 2 days to get back to you. Yes, please mark as resolved.
And, actually, I thought I had responded that your fix had done the trick, but I guess I had responded to a “no reply” email. Oops(!) My mistake. ??
Thank you for your time and we truly appreciate your plugin. Have a nice day.
^I’m sorry, I mistakenly added the above comment here instead of in my CleanTalk dashboard. I tried to delete the above comment, but I can’t figure out how to do it. I did not mean to mark this situation as resolved because it is not yet resolved.

Ok thank you. I got an email that said “`There has been a response to your ticket: Hello. I confirm the issue, thank you for your great feedback. I transfer this info to the development group. We will contact you within 2-3 workdays. Write back to us anytime.
Be well, Alex Gull Technical Support`. So I will await the response. Thank you for your time. Have a nice day.- This reply was modified 3 years, 3 months ago by Kate.

In reply to: [User Switching] Unable to pay for woo orders once switched to userUpdate: I got it to work. I didn’t do what you asked me to about the cookies. I simply installed it on our live site and it worked. So I have to assume that it had something to do with the password-protected staging tool (which comes free with our hosting plan at Siteground). I think it’s ok to close this topic… if that is ok with you?
**note: perhaps the reason I experienced the “switcheroo” from dev to production while doing my test transaction was because of the password protection. Something like, I as an admin had proper creds to be in my staging site but once I switched to the test customer, the test customer did not have the proper creds to be “let back in” (so to speak). Anyway, thanks for your contribution to the community.
