Thanks so much – I didn’t quite get it to work as suggested but fiddling with the publish date of the posts and then setting it to publish in date order did the trick. Much appreciated!

I think I’ve discovered that it’s Advanced Sidebar. There’s a section called ‘Advanced Sidebar – Pages: Events’ so I assume that’s it. However, when I expand it, I can see a drop down for Page Order, and the only three options are Page Order, Title and Published Date. I was hoping for a drag and drop (the order I want kind of groups events together by theme, which is only apparent in the text I type on the Event page so can’t see a way that this would be detected and recognised automatically).

In any case I think I’ve found there’s a forum for this, so I appreciate your help in identifying it – I’ll redirect my query there.
