    OK

Thank you so much for your help – I seem to be back on track
my computer still wasn’t showing anything but when I went in to the admin section it came up and I was able to change the theme and now I can see it again – it is all very odd and magical stuff – no doubt in 6 months or so I’ll have some idea what I’m doing.

Once again thankyou – it seems that this system works on random acts of kindness – how nice!

It is? you mean you get to see twenty thirteen?

I’ve cleared my browsing history (if that is what <clearing your browser cache> means) but I can’t get anything to come up when I type in my URL

No risk of putting it back – I don’t know how to start!

    Hmmm

I found my way to cPanel filemanager, found the summit lite folder and thought it might be a good idea to delete it. Apparently not – now there is nothing at all coming up when I type in my URL…..

perhaps I had better not play with anything else until a kind person tells me WTF I should be doing.

Oh dear – I knew this wouldn’t be as easy as the nice videos suggest!

I’ve had a web site for 19 years and ring a man when I want something changed – but it’s old and static. I need to start using tweets and videos to communicate with my clients and I now have the time available to learn how to build and manage a wordpress site BUT I’m 62 and a complete novice and your very helpful instructions sound like chinese.

My ftp client? – is that Hostgator? I have logged in to the Hostgator control panel but how do I find the the summit lite theme directory to rename it?

I would greatly appreciate directions detailed – in baby talk if possible
