I tried this.
It actually opens the new page in the same tab instead of opening a new one.
That could be another to fix this.
But is there a way to close the pop-up and still open a new tab for the new page?

In reply to: [Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields Type] Hide year of birthThat’s what it does because now it shows ‘April 15’.
How can I fix this?

In reply to: [Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields Type] Hide year of birthI don’t want to show the year actually. That was the reason I added the function you wrote above.
The problem I have is that after entering the code it shows the birthdate as ‘April 13’ for all users no matter what they select.
If you go to the ‘edit’ page though you see correctly, but it’s always April 13 in the ‘view’ page.
I hope I make sense.
Same problem here.
Did you manage to find a solution?

In reply to: [Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields Type] Move the asterisk in 'Birthdate'I just tried it and it returns an error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /home/public_html/website/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-xprofile-custom-fields-type/bp-xprofile-custom-fields-type.php on line 231Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields Type] Move the asterisk in 'Birthdate'That worked! Thank you!
One more question: Is there a way to assign a class to the star?
I have all of them changed to red, but I see that the whole thing is under <label></label> so that makes it hard to change it.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields Type] Hide year of birthI agree. It’s really weird and it’s actually the first time I come across this kind of problem.
I’ll contact the theme’s support and I may be able to figure it out.
I know that I’m going to lose it, but hopefully that’s a temporarily solution.
Did I pick the right file though?

In reply to: [Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields Type] Hide year of birthGot it! I though I should post an update in case someone else is wondering.
The code has to be added in ‘wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-xprofile/bp-xprofile-functions.php’

In reply to: [Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields Type] Hide year of birthHi,
I added the code in the ‘functions.php’ file in the theme I’m using but it shows the whole thing at the top of the website.
What ‘functions.php’ file am I supposed to add it to?

In reply to: [BP BookMarklet] Not WorkingSame problem.
After watching your demo it looks like both the dropdown to select where to post and the ‘Post’ button are missing.
Checked on Windows browsers’ but doesn’t work in any of them.
Is there a timeline on when you’ll be releasing the next update on the plugin?

In reply to: Error in feedI found the problem just now!
I was using a password-protect plugin to lock down the website and as soon as I disabled it I was able to see the ‘feed’ page without errors!
Thanks! You actually helped as I disabled the plugin so you can access!
