You should consider your server setup, blog setup, themes, etc.

Are you running standalone wp or wpmu ?
Tried changing theme ?
Tiga uses themetoolkit, it may cause trouble, perhaps.
Disable cache ?

All in all, it is a particular blog which causes trouble.
So, the problem should be just there.

I was just wondering about why your blog title does not wrap.

I looked for hint first, after that I just put your title in one of my offline blog with the default theme and it wraps perfectly.

You may want to check up on it ?

There were some similar problems and those seemed to be related php safe mode, somehow.

But your other blogs work all right.

Could it not be some trouble by akismet ?
Or a possible attack ?

I agree with you and I do think along the same line.

But my analysis of the situation showed the following:

In spite of the fact that the Postie plugin’s home offered a very detailed and satisfactory help, the folks here also supplied good enough advice even if they had their “fun”, as well, the problem still remained.

Also, the poster expressed urgency and the possibility of loosing a client.

Also, there was not enough data about the site and the positions of the participants. It is true that changing host is a good solution but we do not know if the poster is authorized to do that and it is within the needed time frame.

We do not even know if the poster has really exhausted every possibility and there is no something unique problem perhaps.

As the offer was very explicit, I thought, it was a feasible solution to grab the job if there is one who is up to it and is in need of some money.

The reason, I make this issue so detailed is that – as it was predictable – there is a “boom” in novice wordpress users who want to blog but know just next to nothing about the basics of computers and/or web.
Already, there are “zillions” of posts which are silently skipped because they are beyond hope.

It is also common practice in open source world to give away software for free and offer paid support.

I think, that WordPress just has come to this threshold.

I do not like it either as it is more fun to hack and tender something which is something like a common child of thousands who are more or less peers.

But what about the newcomers who do not know and possibly will not want to know about profession just want to play with their new tool ?

For them, there is only the possibility of paid support, in my opinion.

If you are familiar with localhosting (i.e. XAMPP) then you can do the import or as a last resort you can ask a friend or somebody here to make this favor to you.
