Hi Jackie,
I contacted hostgator (my hosting company) about the reinstall and they told me I’d lose everything, I though they were wrong!

Not sure if that’s accurate? Do you know of anyone who would do this reinstall for me or of any other instructional videos or documentation on the topic? I just don’t want to screw it up as I’ve never done a reinstall before.

I do have backups via code guard on hostgator so I’m good there.

Hi Jackie,
The plugins were not the issue. If I reinstall WordPress, won’t I lose all my existing data, the whole website that has been created, themes etc?

Well since my last post I decided to put word press folder back in place and start over. It looks like it did originally. Now I’m going to move the word press files correctly, and hopefully not have any problems. Any suggestions here?

How do I make changes to the database? Where are these 2 entries?
