I am having the exact same problem. I have emailed the fellow who designed the theme twice through the only website that allows contact. His tutorial video does not address this and comments are disabled. I absolutely refuse to resort to Twitter to speak with someone. We shall see if he gets back to me. I have a portfolio built, but it does not show up on the parent level portfolio page that I created. No portfolio template is available.
