Well, I really don’t know how, but I’ve managed to resolve the issue. I’ve tried so many different things, that I’m really not sure which one worked!

Updating to add….I’ve discovered that the width issue is only on the home page, subsequent pages display properly. I tried copying a page that looked fine using the “Duplicate Post” plug in, and setting it as home. As soon as I did, the text box and the form container both ‘shrank’ and were no longer 100% in width (on mobile phone, both fine on the PC).

Thank you for your response. I’ve managed to have a backup copy reloaded by the host server and it has resolved the issue. When I checked the status of the themes, it says that everything is up to date.

I’m still not sure what or why it happened. I’ll continue to investigate.

    Thanks again for your help.

I’ve been going through the error log after trying both disabling the plugins and defaulting the theme. The problem did not go away.

I’m seeing items like these repeatedly in the error log, but don’t have a clue what to do about it (I’ve changed the URLs below to include “dot” instead of .):

[fcgid:warn] [pid 667:tid 140362844645120] [client 104.222.124.142:39764] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function use_block_editor_for_post_type() in /var/www/vhosts/bodydesigndotca/httpdocs/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-screen.php:340, referer: https://wwwdotbodydesigndotca/

Again, any advice is greatly appreciated!
