I am a former computer programmer. Let me know either a) what module is used to import the feed or b) what module is used to load the event so I can hack the code myself.
Doing nothing is not an option as it my professional reputation at stake if I use your plugin which is otherwise quite good.
To be clear, the escape sequence “\n” should be parsed and replaced with a carriage return, line feed combination
Should be the latest version. 2.1.9 with extended views 1.1.2

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Mobile OptionsHi Richard,
We have one menu for the desktop app, but would like to use a different one for the mobile version of the site. Most mobile plugins provide a means to specify a custom menu. Also, the desktop site uses TheProfessional theme which creates a slider and does not have a static page setting. We created a static page for use with the mobile theme; currently WPSmart, but would be interested in trying Jetpack’s mobile plugin if the the items above could be modified to allow for custom settings.
TheProfessional makes use of [box type=”bio”] shortcodes. In the theme we are using, I copied in some code from TheProfessional to enable this functionality so that we didn^t have to remove it from the desktop in order to provide an acceptable user experience on the mobile site. If you are already able to check around in the current theme, perhaps you could simply load it’s existing shortcode support?
Hope this helps,
Best

In reply to: [WP Smart Mobile Theme Plugin] Menu errorIf you don’t mind hacking, you can copy and paste the code from your theme that handles the shortcodes into the wpsmart plugin. This would likely mean one or more .js and .css files plus hand editing a .php file to initialize the code being added. This would of course be unsupported, but does provide a workable solution until the plugin adds support. You would also need to make sure you have a working backup prior to installing any updates which would possibly overwrite and updates.
Perhaps in the future, the plugin could check the active theme folder for supported shortcodes and apply them?

In reply to: [WP Smart Mobile Theme Plugin] Preview vs Live ModeI have resolved this myself. To summarize, W3 Total Cache will try and cache mobile pages unless told not to. The result is that it may send desktop pages to mobile devices and vice versa.
The solution is to go to the User Agent Groups page for W3 Total Cache (Performance -> User Agent Groups) and copy the entire list of of user agents. Then go to the Page Cache page (Performance -> Page Cache) and paste the list copied previously into the space labeled Rejected user agents. Save all settings and empty the page cache and you’re good to go.

In reply to: [WP Smart Mobile Theme Plugin] Preview vs Live ModeWhen I empty the page cache in WordPress W3 Total Cache, I see the mobile page again, so this seems to be part of the problem. At some point, the mobile landing page seems to fall out of the page cache and mobile users see the main site.
