I’ve tried this but it didn’t work either. What is a CPT? Sorry, I’m kinda new to WordPress.

We have a custom tax called “tax_course” so I created a “taxonomy-tax_course.php” template and it doesn’t work, goes straight to index.php page.

According to the WordPress documentation, if it doesn’t find that taxonomy-[custom_tax_name].php page it goes on to the taxonomy.php page.

None of this is working for us and we can’t figure out why.

We’re having the exact same error and I cannot find any info out there for this. Does anyone have any ideas?

Well, I sort of fixed it. Turned out that for some reason the page was using the_excerpt() instead of the_content().

Can’t figure out why though cause the code says if is_archive() or is_search(). So my next question is: what is the difference between content and archive. I mean, these are just regular posts.

I’m having the same problem, but not just with <p> tags, any formatting is getting stripped out in the posts!

The only thing I’ve customized is the CSS and I haven’t deleted anything, just modified rules.

Anyone have a clue?

I had the same problem and was able to fix it by changing localhost to 127.0.0.1 in the wp-config file.
