I can get the notice email that includes the information submitted. what I’d like to get is for the submitter to get a confirmation email.

For now, I can’t seem to get it to work.

I don’t really see where you designate an email address to send the submission confirmation email to.

I tested on the test form. It didn’t work as I expected. Let me first try to clarify the intention of this function. Basically, if the submitter put an email in the submitted form, this function would send an email to the submitter to confirm that the information submitted has been received. So to me, the Reply-to field should NOT have a static email address, but instead take the email address from the submitted information. If I designate a fixed email address in the field, all emails will be sent to the email address I designated. not really what it’s intended to do, is it?

I tried to deactivated the existing version, 1.1.2 and then completely delete in the plugin menu and then physically delete in the content directory. then I ftp the entire directory from your link to the content directory. In the plugin menu, I can see the plugin has been re-installed and activated (as it says now

“There is a new version of WR ContactForm available. View version 1.1.2 details or update now.”

did a sample submission. still don’t get email responder to work. try it yourself.

btw, should I check “sent to data: email”? what does it mean? it’s checked as of now.

I actually had a developer looked at it and he modified header.php file to give the transparent look.

by reinstalling the plugin, will all forms be reset or lost?

when the subscriber is updated, all fields get updated. but sometimes subscribers don’t get updated, as if there was never a submission.

yes, I’ve noticed the occasional delay. Most of time though if it works, the updated subscriber information is immediate.

so when I say there was a problem updating mailchimp, I’m referring neither the count nor the actual information being updated.

When you said it’s working well, are you testing on my site or yours?

Like I mentioned, this particular problem occurs intermittently. I don’t know if I could duplicate the problem at given test, but I will try your solution of clearing the cache first.

I wish the problem occurs consistently so it’s easier to trouble-shoot.

It seems sometimes the sign-up information gets transferred over, sometimes it doesn’t.

I always get information in my email designated to receive the information.

As for mailchimp integration, no, there was no notification showing at the time of adding api. I have to say that with mailchimp problem, it’s intermittent, sometimes I get the registration information showed up in the mailchimp list, sometimes I don’t.

Not sure why. I tested it pretty much at the same condition.
