There is no issue that we see from our end because of the theme.
Are you editing theme code directly? There might be various cases in that JS doesn’t work.

You can remove the slider from the customizer settings Appearance > Customize > Polite Theme Options > Slider Setting. You will have the option to hide the slider there.

Thank you for using Polite and using a support forum for the query. Because of the various request made by the theme users that they got confused because of those three lines.

Because, we have OffCanvas menus too. If you enable it from Appearance > Customize > Polite Theme Options > Header Settings (https://docs.templatesell.net/polite/#54_Header_Search_and_Off_Canvas
) and check the site on the mobile phone it looks the same.

But, we will consult with the developer’s team and get back to you with some alternative possible solutions.
