Because I’m planning on updating my WP site from 3.6 to 4.1.1, I’m checking plugin compatibility and I also am concerned that CCTM seems to have compatibility issues.
It seems I’m only using CCTM to support Contact Form 7, maybe I should move to some other contact form? What are other folks doing to solve the problem with CCTM?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Message Received, But With No DataJerry, why would you send the message individually to people’s email addresses when it would be beneficial to all? I may be having the same problem, though it may also be a variation.
Through another forum message (now inexplicably closed to further comments) I learned that if the “Message body” section of Contact Form 7 is blank, the messages will not go through. So I put a simple signature line in there, and – voila! – the message went through after trying many other things.
However the content of the email message I received was in fact just that signature text from the Message body, and none of the message that the website user actually typed into the form at their end.
Same thing? Different thing? Would love to know, and if you won’t post here, I can be reached at [email protected].
Thanks.

In reply to: [Theme: Splendio] sidebar formatting not behavingI spent an hour this evening reading about these licensing issues during a time that I can ill afford it, in response to your post. While I now have some understanding of the divergences in the licensing standards (I’m not an IP attorney), I don’t understand why you would post such an ungracious response to ~my~ request for support, which would be much better directed to said author of this popular WordPress/Drupal theme. For my part, I have sent a rather lengthy inquiry on this to the author of the theme, asking for some word on the choice of licensing, vis a vis what wordpress seems to mandate.
Regardless, I am a user, and a relatively new one at that, and I’m in need of help, so I came to the place I thought most likely to give it. If this is the kind of response one can expect to receive to bona-fide requests for support, I won’t forget it. Perhaps the wordpress community is not such a forward-looking place after all.
I should point out however that regarding the GPL issue, WordPress more or less defers to Drupal’s faq on the subject, as they are both issued under the same licensing agreement. It is interesting to note, therefore, that Splendio, and support for it, is available through drupal.org. The listing for it at https://drupal.org/project/splendio says it is “Drupal standards compliant.”
All that being said, my need remains. My job responsibility is to deliver this website, and I’m having the difficulty I outlined. I hope that someone here will be generous enough to spare a dime to someone of a different religion.
Thank you.
