I have been struggling with this error for a couple weeks. It seems to only affect non-logged in users who have not entered any address data in the fields previously. It is especially consistent if users want to ship to a different address than billing.

Divi 4.19.2, WP 6.1.1

Applicable WooCommerce Settings:
Default customer location set to Shop location/region
Shipping destination set to Default to customer billing address
Disabled ability to create account at checkout because of “Password field required error” (this may be a separate issue but I am not certain)

I first tried rolling back to 1.95 and that did not fix the issues of the "Hosted fields payment is already in progress" error.

Against my better judgement, I disabled the plugin and installed 2.0.1 from the github link above.

It will now allow payments to go through, but not until after it directs users to the top of the page, displays the “Hosted fields payment is already in progress” error, then after a moment, the error disappears, and THEN after a few more seconds (long enough for the unsuspecting user to be very confused and assume it isn’t working). All the while, the processing indicator is back at the bottom of the page.

This feels very much like a workaround and not a solution. What are the chances this is still being improved for the next version?

I am having the same issue. Using the pro version, WP 5.9. VFB Pro 3.4.6.

The form it is happening on is using the text confirmation type. Some forms are submitted up to 4 times. The gaps between them is random.

This worked for me. Updated from php 5.4 to 7.2 in the MultiPHP Manager in cpanel and viola. Thank you!

I am using this feature too and have been successful with it for a few years now. i am now having the same issue. I recently updated to php 7.2. Running WordPress 4.9.9.

Just realized that this plugin is no longer available. Going to try and install the latest github version and see if that does the trick.

I just installed this today (1.21.3) and this is not working.

It is adding the member page slug twice and going to a 404 page.

The code above did not work, but this did:

.wdpu-7337 .wdpu-msg { position: absolute;}

anyone else with this issue will need to change the first class to match the id of their popup. this is also a workaround and would have to be instituted per pop-up until it is fixed.

Any chance you found a solution to this? I am having the same issue. WP 4.5.3, no plugins activated with theme 2014.

I experienced the same thing. WP 4.4.. using the divi theme but not the builder.

Of course I figured it our right after i posted. it is within the plugin settings. my bad!

I would love some answers on this as well.

Divi does not include the FA set. The site is not public, and the issue is in the backend anyway.

There have been several posts about this, so I assume it is an ongoing bug. Sorry i cant be of more help then this.

I am having the same issue as described above but the links in the response do not apply to this situation. In the drop down list on the shortcode editor, i can see no icons – they show ast boxes with an X inside them.

My solution was to go to https://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/ and search them, which is easier anyway, then copy the icon id into the shortcode. But i dont want my clients to have to do that.

i am using Divi 2.5 with very few plugins.
