I’m having this issue too, but I’m not sure that it’s php. I updated from php 5.4.* to 5.6 but still have the problem when I update to the latest version of Call Now Button. Reverting to the previous one solves it. I’d love to know if you find out what’s causing this plugin to produce a 500 error so we can update.

OK, never mind. The customizer creates a 2nd version of the logo whether you crop it or not, but doesn’t carry over ALT text in the media library. When I went back to the library and added ALT text to the generated image, it is included when loaded in the theme.

Love the plugin, but I’m looking for pagination too. Is there any way this can be done?

If you have this problem, it may be a conflict with another plugin. In my case, I had the error when I upgraded the plugin, but could see from the error message some type of conflict with WP Security Scan.

I reverted back to the older version of Secure WordPress, updated my other plugins, then tried the Secure WordPress upgrade again. It worked the second time with no errors.
