In reply to: [Multisite Robots.txt Manager] Change not possible for a specific websiteExperiencing the same problem … which makes the plugin pretty worthless right now. If I wanted an identical robots.txt file for all the sites on my network, I’d just stick one in the top-level directory. :-/
(Benjamin, I tried your suggestion, but it does not seem to be working for me.)
Really hope the plugin developer addresses this ASAP. This is a major problem that is going to have a severe impact on how our sites get indexed. Very displeased that a mistake of this enormity made it into the release.
My bad; I inadvertently hosed it by removing “display:none;” from the “#menu” attributes.

Why Yoast thinks it’s OK to hijack the main WP Dashboard is beyond me. Unprecedentedly obnoxious.

In reply to: [Flickr Photo Album] How to fix plugin with new Flickr APIDude, THANK YOU!
Was searching all over for a suitable replacement for this plugin and then decided to do *one last search* to see if I could find a fix. You the man.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Thematic] Widgets & "Appearance" options missingMy bad; I forgot I made a change in my wp-config file. Just restored file to previous version and all’s well now.

In reply to: [Broadcast] Yoast SEO fields & ThreeWP BroadcastFurther clarification: I specifically do NOT want ThreeWP Broadcast to broadcast the SEO fields across all linked pages, as each linked page has unique SEO info; I just want it to leave the fields alone completely.

In reply to: [Broadcast] Yoast SEO fields & ThreeWP BroadcastAddendum: The post directly above actually isn’t a new question; it’s the original question. It’s been so long since I first asked it, however, that I apparently forgot what I was asking.
I just want ThreeWP Broadcast to leave the SEO fields alone instead of deleting them. Doesn’t make any sense to me why the content of those fields is getting nuked.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Broadcast] Yoast SEO fields & ThreeWP BroadcastNew question: I don’t actually need ThreeWP Broadcast to broadcast the Yoast SEO fields so much as I need it to NOT delete existing data in said fields on child pages when a parent post is updated. Is there a fix for this?

In reply to: [Broadcast] Yoast SEO fields & ThreeWP BroadcastEdward, didn’t see your response until just now.
It looks like the Yoast SEO fields do, in fact, start with underscores. There are quite a few, all of which start with “_yoast.” Is there a way to wildcard “_yoast[whatever]” in the “Custom field exceptions”?
I read that blog post back when it was first published, and used it at that time to convince the executive board that WP Touch was a good choice. Now, however, I am asking for an additional argument based on Google’s more recent recommendation to serve only one version of a page across all devices using responsive breakpoints/CSS.

In reply to: [Broadcast] Yoast SEO fields & ThreeWP BroadcastFollow-up: I’ve created a page on one site in the network, then broadcasted it to another site on the network. The Yoast SEO fields were not broadcast to the child page, so I manually entered the SEO data. I then made a change to the parent page. After updating the parent page, I discovered that the data I manually entered into the Yoast SEO fields on the child page had been completely deleted. Blank fields. This = Bad. How do I fix? Anyone?

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Unknown column 'use_2co' in 'field list'Disregard; I rolled back to a backup version of the DB, deactivated and reactivated the plugin & it works now.
Thanks for the assistance.

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Unknown column 'use_2co' in 'field list'Did that. Edited an event. Now I’m getting this:
WordPress database error: [Unknown column 'use_webmoney' in 'field list']
Also: The field(s) that I’m adding: Should they be specified as NULL or NOT NULL?

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Unknown column 'use_2co' in 'field list'This isn’t a viable option. There’s a voluminous amount of data that would be lost. Is there a way to export the existing data and then import after a “Delete all” is executed?
Or can I just manually create the missing field in the MySQL DB?
