Try adding a trailing slash to your path:

define('WPCACHEHOME', '/var/www/snorkeluk/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/');

I had problems too with this plugin and I went looking for it again thinking there was an update but couldn’t find it as well.

I’ve since switched to WP-Scrobbler. it works fine and can be found.
