i also tried to upgrade from 3.4.2, and ended up with 3.4.3-alpha. Which makes a certain kind of sense, but I wanted 3.5.2 beta and can’t see how to do that.

if you go to the codex page for the plugin, look on the right for the link to “Other Versions.” Do you know which version worked for you? I also am having issues with the current version…

I just got the missing-hashes-file message running Exploit Scanner 1.0.1 with WordPress 3.1.2.

Is this also just a case of the plugin needing an update?

I’ve determined that the update actually went in reverse blog ID order, so now I know which ones weren’t done, and it’s just a handful.

Tim, do you mean that simply visiting the dashboard causes the update to happen, or am I supposed to be clicking on something? I don’t see anything that refers to updating…

I’ve confirmed that my problem was the WP version. We were running 2.8.4. When I upgraded to 2.9.2, I was able to activate this plugin sitewide.

Can you tell me what version of WPMU you’re running?
